House Starshine / Builder’s Nightcap
The cupboards
have left the square.
Complete · ready for playtest
Correct models, supported planting and room for the town to move. A small data-type mistake had surprisingly large furniture ambitions.
Correction release steps ↗The right type of furniture.
The intended appearance numbers were present, but native NWN expects their fields as DWORD, not WORD. The corrected binary now carries the right type as well as the right value.
Feet on the ground.
5 support and stair-planting adjustments, clearer stopping places and a restrained petal cleanup keep the existing square’s identity intact.
The engine, checked.
Private native WORD/DWORD diagnostic: passed in the recorded isolated review.
The actual renderer.
Actual client renderer review: Joel requested no NWN launch on his PC. Disposable review stopped; no native client appearance pass claimed.
One map. The town underneath stays.
Changed: aw_reach.git. The working services, doors, accepted landmarks, voices and current Lantern repair are preserved. No HAK, TLK or NWSync change.
One independent AI-Core backup was verified against production. Player state retained; healthy live startup confirmed.
Recorded renderer and native evidence have their own limits. Neither is Joel’s visual acceptance, nor proof of every live NPC routine.
The earlier edition stays on record.
The previous Mercy V2 release was published before Joel’s playtest exposed the cupboards defect. This follow-up records the correction; it does not erase that earlier snapshot.
Apparently WORD was the wrong word.
