places to be.
Complete · ready for playtest
Free civic passages, a more welcoming shop and a sensible escape from the pathfinding sulks.
Civic Passages release steps ↗Walk first. Magic if needed.
Ordinary travel and unlocked-door handling come first. A genuinely stalled movement leg gets a bounded recovery. Some town and Briarhaven residents occasionally take a passage; guards and visible tavern arrivals retain their walking routes.
The Exchange opens up.
The public entrance faces the square and all four merchant counters have open internal approaches. Existing stock, prices and services stay intact.
The cupboards are still gone.
Mercy’s 58 native Appearance fields were corrected in the previous release. This network preserves that correction, the Lantern repairs and accepted town features.
Mercy correction record ↗Turns out “open-door policy” is useful literally.
Meanwhile, the monsters audition.
Two new orc readings and one goblin retake are ready to compare with the originals. These are listening samples, not installed boss voices; one orc line has a flagged singular/plural delivery difference.
Listen to the monster auditions ↗A proper release boundary.
Candidate-bound native checks, exact resource-scope verification, independent AI-Core backup and healthy live startup are recorded. Player state and existing client assets remain.
No local NWN launch or client visual acceptance is claimed. Native checks do not replay every resident’s schedule. Building pauses here for the next action review.
